UPDATED GUIDANCE FOR SPECTATORS AT GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL

UPDATED GUIDANCE FOR SPECTATORS AT GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL

Steve Walker8 Apr 2021 - 17:08

Match spectators now permitted in parks and open recreation spaces

The Government and FA have today updated their guidance related to spectators at grassroots football.

Effective immediately, where matches and training sessions take place in open public recreational spaces such as parks, spectators are now permitted. They must follow the Government's social distancing rules at all times and mixing in groups must be limited to no more than 6 people or two households.

We are still required to register all participants and spectators at all sessions, as well as complete the COVID briefings so Team COVID Officers will continue in their roles as before.

We have updated our Training and Match Protocol in line with the above guidance and encourage all players, coaches and parents to familiarise themselves with its contents.
