In very positive news for grassroots football and the wider Maidenbower community, Panthers has recently received the go-ahead to invest in a major programme of pitch improvements at Maidenbower Park with the support of the Football Foundation.

While this will mean that the Park is much less susceptible to waterlogging, benefitting all users of the public space, it does prevent us from holding our tournament this year as the pitches will need time to recover from significant renovation work planned for May and June.

We are very disappointed not to be able to run our showcase event this year – it’s such a brilliant weekend with almost 200 teams attending from all over Sussex and Surrey. Nevertheless, the event will be back even stronger in 2026 with the dates already locked-in – Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June 2026.
